Rodney Laws has been in this industry for 27 years and a Platform Artist for 10 years. He has fulfilled his dream of being a salon owner 4 years ago when he purchased his salon in a quaint part of Annapolis. He currently has remote locations in Baltimore and Atlanta. He has studied aboard in Germany, London and Paris. His advanced education has given him an edge on all the new hair products, hair tools and styles. He is constantly looking for the newest and latest in the industry. He is currently a Alfaparf advisor. Some of his color specialties include: dimensional color, advance foiling and corrective color. Christina (Tina) Lewis is a senior stylist for Rodney Laws Studio. She specializes in cutting and has gained a reputation for her precision cuts.
Hair care has been a life long passion of Christina's. From a very early age she knew what she wanted to do. After learning her craft as an apprentice stylist at Personality Hair Studio, she went on to advance her skills and master her trade and quickly became recognized as one of the most talented stylists in Annapolis. In 1985, Christina attended an advanced cutting course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA. She continued perfecting her trade until 1995 when she took a 12 year sabbatical to raise a family. She continued to cut and style at home until realizing her need to return to the Salon environment. |

Dawn has been in the industry for 8 years and studied at Graham Webb International. She continued her education by obtaining certifications from Keratin and Alfaparf. She specializes in dimensional color and advanced foiling. She also specializes in precision cutting. She enjoys staying current on the newest color and hairstyle trends. Cortney Newcomer specializes in complex color design as well as traditional, razor, and modern-textured cuts. She graduated as an advanced specialist in cutting techniques from Graham Webb and is a trained color professional through L’Oréal USA, where she honed her natural talent and developed flawless technique. Her aesthetic ranges from classic to modern, and she provides her dedicated clientele with leading-edge, custom color and precise styling to compliment each individual’s beauty and personal style. Cortney has over 16 years of experience in the industry and served for seven years as an artistic technical team member for L’Oréal where she taught color methods at salons across the Northeast. In addition, over the past four years, she has acted as director of education and salon coordinator for L’Oréal Professional. Cortney was co-owner of Twist Salon and Day Spa in Arnold, Maryland and subsequently fully owned and operated Twist Salon in Annapolis, Maryland for four years. Her decision to join Rodney Laws Studio and move away from ownership to focus solely on her craft is evidence of her dedication and passion to meeting the needs of her clients. Cortney’s extensive expertise and multifaceted color and cutting techniques attract customers from all across the state.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. Checks are welcome. A $30 fee will be charged on all returned checks. A 24 hour cancellation is requested to enable us to serve every client.
